Disk Cleaner - Free HD Space App Reviews

I use this regularly to keep my drive cleaned up. Always finds a lot of junk to clean. Their Duplicates Cleaner app works well too.

Extremely quick install and clean-up is super, super simple. The program took about 5 seconds to download. Once you open the program it does a quick scan of how many GB you have used and how many GB of free space you have left. Press the scan button, and within seconds it tells you how much space it can clean up for you. I now have an additional 4.5 GB available which is extremely valuable to me as I buy a lot of movies on itunes and the GBs of usage add up real quick doing that.

Nothing can describe my feeling at this moment. I was writing code on CLion while Disk Cleaner was cleaning my Application Caches, which I thought was a safe option to check. Then my CLion stuck and I decided to restart this JetBrains application. However, I found a lot of apps were deleted, includin all the JetBrains apps, MATLAB and LaTeX ones. The folder where I put most of my codes was cleaned, too. WHAT A BIG BUG! Now both my Mac and my brain are very clean.

I use this app and it has cleared an extremly amount of space on My Mac. I am usually downloading GIGs of files and always on the internet . The app is very easy to use and cant wait to use it more often. My Computer runs at 100% all the time.. I would adivse you to Download it!

It only cost me 5 bucks to learn this app is useless. Just purchased it and let it out on its maiden voyage. It subjects you to hours of colorful dots swirling, and you have to stay there in front of the screen inputting either an allow or deny request to access a particular folder. After two hours of this nonsense I force quit it. Save your money. Stay away.

Couldn’t even use my computer without getting an out of space message every hour. Cleaned up 10GBs, mostly from application caches. Simple to use. Cleaned up in a minute or 2. Simple. Not sketch like a lot of mac cleaners advertised on the internet. Thanks

I’m not a guy to leave reviews, but I’m ecstatic. I’d been wondering where all my hard drive space was going, and when I bought this, and scanned, there was 168 GB of cached files. I own an ad agency, so I deal with a great deal of high definition footage in Adobe After Effects and Premiere, and that’s primarily where it all was. Old stuff from projects ong since finished. I’m absolutely grateful to have found this.

You can’t go wrong with this application. User friendly and do exactly what is suppose to do.

As others have stated… despite giving it access to all your folders you need to click continuously. And worst of all it goes back to do all the folders again? NOt sure how this got through the system. For me it does not work.

The Disk Cleaner app is great at cleaning out hidden cache folders and common garbage collecting areas. But for $5.99, it’s over-priced. There are free apps that do just as good. My advice to Pocket Bitts is to add more features. For $5.99

Easy download and a quick clean of junk files, as far as I know, and a noticeaable difference. Too soon to tell if all issues corrected. So far, so good, only time will tell, and price is right for my budget!

This app made an immediate impact in the speed of my computer. Not to mention, it freed up space which is always important.

This was truly AMAZING… I have always kept my MacBook Pro/retina very clean but some how this Disk Cleaner still manage to clear up 1.62GB … Im floored.

Found this app by accident and knew I needed it. It was easy, quick and painless. I look forward to better performance on my MacBook Pro, which has been lagging a bit lately. Thanks.

I really love that this app takes you through what it is scanning and deleting - makes hitting the clean button a bit easier on the mind! Good price for a fast, light app!
