Disk Cleaner - Free HD Space App Reviews

2011 MacBook running El Capitan 10.11.6 was crashing a lot when using Firefox, and I was running Disk Utility First Aid a lot, without a lot of improvement. It also showed that in the graph that half of my hard disk was filled with unspecified who knows what. After running Disk Cleaner, only about 1 GB was cleaned off my hard drive — I was hoping a lot more would be cleaned. While typing this, I got a Java Update pop up, and I installed that. I’ll update this review as developments warrent after I’ve used my MacBook a while. But out of the gate, I can say Disk Cleaner was very easy to use.

The best part is the gorgous User interface. I love it!

Bought the app less than 5 minutes ago. Installed… Opened… Started scan… Finished! Love it!

Great app, cleans stuff, yknow, fun and stuff, but I’m really just writing this so maybe they’ll stop asking me to rate them over and over again.

Even as a computer nerd, it’s hard to know what’s safe to delete from my Mac that I won’t regret later, and Disk Cleaner took the guesswork out of it for me. Worth the money.

I have a 4+ yr old Mac Mini and was beleaguer by spinning beach balls and myraid other irritating quirks…I’ve tried all kinds quick fixes…to no avail. I was ready to buy a new computer…I tried D. Cleaner and didnt have the same rave numbers indicated by others - however, (touch wood) my computer is behaving so much better. No more spiining balls...Seriously. Once you pay the fee…can you use it again and again?

For kicks I ran CMM3 on my iMac and 679 MB were found and deleted. I then immediately ran Disk Cleaner, and another 145 MB were found and deleted. This may not be significant, but Disk Cleaner is much faster and (now) less expensive, but both appear to produce similar outcomes.

No joke… Disk Cleaner gives my Macs the extra boost and cleanse they need. Simple and effective. Great job, Pocket Bits! :)

I downloaded this app on a whim since I don’t have much space left. It cleaned 2GB right away and it was increadibly easy to use. I have just started using this app and may update this review in the future. For now, 2GB cleaned in 60 sec. Can’t beat that too easily.

Did what it was suppose to do, no complaints here but this is the first time I tried it so i’ll be back with a update. For the price I would recommend it.

I NEVER leave reviews for apps. Seriously….never. I installed this app to an incredibly slow and poor perfomrinh MacBook Pro that was 4 years old and running abolsutley terribly. At the level I was thinking about just replacing it. I got this app after reading two reviews, and I can’t stress enough the differenc it has made. I feel like my Laptop is brand new!!!! If you are running slow, BUY THIS APP!! It seriously works!!!!!!!!

The pricetag is actually pretty reasonable for this application. It didn’t exactly clear up the “5GB" of space on my computer, but it does help to eliminate a lot of the files that I’m not using. It is not absolutely essential for you to get this, but it is helpful and neat to use if you have a 128GB or even a 256GB SSD. Thank you!

I’ve used this app twice so far, and it cleaned over 2GB the first time and almost another GB the next, about two weeks later. Easy & fast. Recommended. AAA+++

My work MacBook is just eight months old. I decided to try this app based on the reviews. With two minutes of installing, I cleaned 657M from my computer and saw a marked improvement in my computer’s performance. Oh, and I got the app while it was on a special offer, so I feel like this purchase was a double win.

Straight forward and simple.
